I’ve been researching the open-source, reprogrammable, microcontroller, dubbed Arduino for about 2 years now. Recently it seemed that the world wanted me to procure one and experiment with it, “the stars aligned” and I ordered one online and for the past month (minus 2 weeks to recover from a recent surgery, more on that later) I have been collecting potentiometers, sensors, motors, LEDs, lasers and capacitors and testing them out with the Arduino. Actually I thought that this was so entertaining that I put together a club here at Algonquin College whose main goal is to create a RepRap. Today (Yesterday really) I went to one of my new classes where one of our assignments is to make a podcast. I plan on making a podcasts filled with neat little Arduino projects. A video podcast. Hopefully we’ll be able to do some interviews with some people who made some really neat projects, and see what made them think of them. I’m really looking forward to this and hope that you are too!
As far as my surgery goes I have a UPPP… it pretty much consists of a tonsillectomy, a uvulaplasty and some soft palate re-structuring… I’m gonna put up a video of before and after pics and voice change.
